Sugee Biscuits

SUGEE BISCUITS

200g plain flour
½ tsp baking soda
200g butter
120g icing sugar
150g semolina flour or sugee flour
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp concentrated orange juice  (Add 1-2 tbsp of light orange juice if using cookie press)

Preheat oven to 180 deg C
Sift the flour and baking soda together
Place butter, icing sugar, semolina and salt in a mixer and beat until dry ingredients just moisten. Do not over beat.
Add shifted ingredients and mix well to form dough
Shaped dough into small balls and place them on a well greased or lined baking tray. (Alternatively, placed dough into a cookie press and press out the cookies.)
 Bake for about 10-12 minutes. Cool on a rack and store in an air-tight container when cool.
