Kueh Kodok E-mail
Kueh kodoh is deep-fried mashed bananas. Unlike goreng pisang, bananas are mashed and mixed with flour before frying. It is also a popular tea-time snack and available at stalls selling local cakes.

Kueh Kodok

Ingredients
6 big ripe bananas
1 - 1¼  cup flour
1 teabspoon baking powder
2-3 tablespoon sugar

Oil for deep frying
; water if needed

Method
1) Discard the skin of the bananas and mesh the bananas well with a fork, in a bowl.
2) Gradually add flour, baking powder and sugar and mix well into a batter (add water if too thick).
3) Heat the wok or frying pan with enough oil for deep frying. Once the oil is heated, spoon a tablespoon of batter into the hot oil. Constantly turn the banana fritters about  until they are golden brown.
4) Remove fritters and drain on absorbent paper. Served while still warm and crispy on the outside.
