Otak -Otak is fish mixed with spices wrapped in banana leaves and steamed or grilled. In Penang and Kedah, in Nonya -style cooking,  the dish is steamed. However in the southern part of peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, the dish is grilled.

Kuih Bahulu E-mail

Kueh Bahulu / Kuih Bahulu or Kueh Bulu are little sponge cakes made primarily of eggs, sugar and flour, made into various shapes. These small cookie size cake are popular and availabel at market stalls and bazaars, esp. during the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Festivals.
